Q: I recently bought my first Lancia, a Series 1 Fulvia Sport 1.3. The steering is incredibly easy and light (compared to my Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV, which has much wider tires), and also pulls slightly left with the clutch in and right when the gear is engaged and also under heavy throttle. Is this just the way the FWD steers, or indicative of a larger problem?

A: Congratulations for your new Fulvia. No, it is not normal for your car to pull to one side. Presumably you have excluded that the road camber is not affecting the cars direction (this would be normal) and that there is no accident damage. The list of reasons for pulling to one side is a long one:
something wrong with tyres or their pressure,
worn suspension components,
ill adjusted wheel geometry
and finally incorrect location of the engine/gearbox assembly in the subframe.
You do not say if the pulling is associated with vibration and if the steering is precise. It seems you need investigating this problem.
